Following the completion of the comprehensive Multi-sectoral Need Assessment (MSNA) on Climate Change and Disaster Impact in Southern Areas of Bangladesh, DM WATCH LIMITED was awarded a subsequent assignment by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), funded by German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO),  to enhance and disseminate the findings of this foundational study. The primary aim of this follow-up assignment was to provide a summarized, accessible version of the detailed MSNA report, focusing on creating an impactful, user-friendly format that would effectively communicate key insights to a broader audience. This project involved synthesizing extensive data, incorporating feedback, and designing an infographic-rich report to facilitate clear and engaging communication of complex climate and disaster impact findings. Additionally, DM WATCH LIMITED prepared presentation materials to support the dissemination of findings at a national level, thus amplifying the impact of the MSNA and aiding strategic decision-making for future climate-resilient initiatives.

DM WATCH LIMITED undertook a structured approach to deliver this assignment, leveraging its expertise in report synthesis, design, and stakeholder engagement. The scope of work included:

Summarizing the MSNA Report:

• DM WATCH LIMITED produced a condensed version of the original MSNA report, highlighting key insights, major findings, and actionable recommendations. This summary aimed to retain the critical elements of the study while making the content more accessible to a broader audience.

Feedback Incorporation and Finalization:

• DM WATCH LIMITED integrated feedback from IRC and other stakeholders to refine and finalize the summarized report. This collaborative process ensured that all relevant perspectives were considered, enhancing the report’s quality and relevance.

Design and Infographic Development:

• The team created an infographic-focused design for the summarized report, emphasizing visual storytelling to communicate key data points effectively. This design approach facilitated easier understanding of complex data and insights, making the report suitable for diverse audiences.

Preparation of Presentation Materials:

• DM WATCH LIMITED developed a comprehensive slide deck, distilling the key findings and recommendations of the MSNA study. This deck was crafted for use in a national dissemination workshop, ensuring that IRC and stakeholders could communicate the report’s findings effectively to policy-makers and implementing partners.
