DM WATCH houses a talented team of full-time staff in its office space. The team comprises three working divisions — Research and Knowledge Management (RKM), Communication and Business Development (CBD) and, Finance and Operations (FO).
The division Research and Knowledge Management works under 6 clusters with different practice areas. In addition to its in-house full-time researchers, the division enjoys supports from a pool of hired consultants and short-term research assistants.
Salman spearheads strategic initiatives in research, business development, and knowledge management. With a Ph.D. in Crop Science, he specializes in the development-environment nexus, leading multidisciplinary research across sectors such as environment, climate change, and sustainable development. His expertise includes program evaluation, data analysis, and fostering partnerships for impactful, data-driven solutions.
Solayem is a professional accountant and a member of The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) of Australia. He oversees the Finance and Operations division of DM WATCH, ensuring that all regulatory financial reporting complies with the BAS (Bangladesh Accounting Standards) and BFRS (Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards).
Rezaul, Senior Manager – Business Development, Monitoring, and Knowledge Management, has over 18 years of experience in planning, MERL&QA, and knowledge management. A graduate in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University with a PGDDP, his research interests include MNCH, environment, migration, and human trafficking.
MD Khalid Ibne Kamal is a Manager at DM WATCH LIMITED, specializing in Research and Knowledge Management. He holds an M.Sc. in Public and Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Birmingham. His field of interests include epidemiology, disaster management, and public health ethics.
Ajit is the Manager of Finance and Operations at DM WATCH LIMITED. A partly qualified Chartered Accountant under ICAB, he holds an M.Com in Accounting from Jagannath University and works to strengthen financial systems, improve operational efficiency, and ensure effective resource utilization.
Hasan works as the Deputy Manager (IT) at DM WATCH. His responsibilities include working in IT system administration, networking, and tackling issues related to IT and operations. Areas of his interest include cloud computing, DevSecOps, and EDGE computing.
Bulbul is a Senior Associate-Data Management in the Project Management Unit at DM WATCH LIMITED. He has completed master’s in education research from Bangladesh National University. He is currently doing Masters of Applied Statistics and Data Science at Jahangirnagar University. He has experience in SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox, Stata, SPSS, Python & Power BI.
Shahriar works as an Executive—Human Resources and Operations under Finance and Operations department. With a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature, he completed his Master's in Human Resource Development & Industrial Relations from Jahangirnagar University. He is enthusiastic about working in organizational administration.
Tuhin works as an Executive-Logistics and Operation at DM WATCH. He maintains log sheet, official documents, create and maintain necessary database.
Fahmida Yeasmin is an Officer in Research and Knowledge Management Division with a background in Geography and Environmental Studies. She holds an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree in Water Science and Engineering from IHE Delft, Netherlands. Her research focuses on environmental health, water security, and sustainability.
Nisha is an Officer at the Research and Knowledge Management division. She completed her M.S.S. in Economics from East West University and is currently pursuing an M.D.S. at the University of Dhaka. Her professional interests include research, documentation, monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management.
Nusrut is a Research Associate in the Research and Knowledge Management Division. She holds a master degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Chittagong. Her research focuses on disaster management, climate change, and sustainability.
Niger is a Research Associate in the Research and Knowledge Management Division. She holds an MSc in GIS for Environment and Development from Jahangirnagar University. Her work centers on leveraging geospatial analysis and climate resilience tools to advance inclusive, data-driven program implementation in Bangladesh.
Robin is a Project Management Associate in the Project Management Unit. He holds a master’s degree in Anthropology from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University. His professional interests include project coordination, progress tracking, stakeholder engagement, and resource management, with a focus on ensuring efficient, timely, and successful project outcomes in dynamic environments.
Md. Hamidul Haque is responsible for office cleaning, preparing tea, snacks for senior colleagues, and assist another task to his senior colleague as office staff.
