The technical assistance aims to support the capacity building of Partner Organization (Micro Finance Institutions) field staff and local entrepreneurs, support market promotion, and ensure the quality of construction and the Behaviour Change Communication campaign.
The project will be implemented in 78 Upazilas under four divisions of Bangladesh for two years. The International Development Association (IDA) and Asian Infrastructure Investment bank (AIIB) will support the project. Around 60,000 households will benefit from the project by using safe drinking water, improved hygiene latrines, and maintaining personal hygiene, thus, meeting the requirements of SDG targets 6.1 & 6.2.
